CAT 304 CR

The CAT 304 CR is an older model mini-excavator whose production stopped in 2006. However, this 36-hp compact excavator has proven rugged enough that they are still widely used, not to mention bought and sold. The Caterpillar 304 CR has a maximum dig depth of 11 ft along with maximum digging and traction forces of 8,228 lbs and 9,260 lbs, respectively.

The CAT 304CR works great for many different jobs, ranging from extensive trenching to demolition. In fact, we’ve found that this compact excavator is an excellent choice if you want to make quick work of trail building. It’s got enough hydraulic power to use attachments like mulchers, hydraulic thumbs, and brush cutters -- not to mention the ability to dig out some pretty big tree stumps, as well. The CAT 304CR also has the capabilities to do general land clearing, as well.
