KX61-2

The Kubota KX61-2 mini-excavator was discontinued in 2004, but like so many Kubota machines it is still widely in use. It weighs 5,910 lbs and its Kubota D1105-EBH-6 diesel engine generates 27 hp. It has dual-speed final drives that provide a maximum travel speed of 2.5 mph. The Kubota KX61-2 compact excavator also offers a maximum digging depth of 108 in, a maximum dumping height of 131 in, and a maximum reach of 173 in.

These machines can be outfitted with a hydraulic breaker (aka, hydraulic hammer) to break up concrete, rock, asphalt, and other hard surfaces. This makes the Kubota KX61-2 a fantastic option for jobs like demolition, site preparation, and road surface preparation. But that isn’t the only option for these mini-excavators. They have enough power to handle any task that may get delegated to them, from digging utility trenches to cleaning storm debris. And like any Kubota machine, these hydraulic excavators are certainly built to last.
